Driving in Cairo is a true adventure in itself...we survived our first run into downtown Cairo from Heliopolis in a small taxi the day we arrived...Wednesday, Sept 30...we were lucky to have a kind and talented driver...Driving in Cairo and Egypt in general takes great skill to stay safe...there's a definite art to it...For now, I'll stick to being a backseat driver...and remain very grateful each time we arrive at our destination in one piece...There is truly order among the chaos...beautifully choreographed...
